NSFAS 2027 applications are open and close on 31 October 2026. Applying is free. CONSENT FORM: The applicant must sign and date BOTH applicant blocks. Complete the applicable parent/guardian/spouse sections. DECLARATION FORM: Applies to applicants aged 34 or younger; follow your application’s document request. Complete both pages, including applicant and applicable family signatures. Verification is by a social worker OR the principal of the school last attended. DISABILITY ANNEXURE: Both pages require the appropriate registered professional or indicated disability support office. Include reports where required. The form exempts applicants already receiving disability funding from resubmitting it; changed circumstances may require updated details. ORPHAN/VULNERABLE CHILD FORM: For applicants under 18 in this cohort. A social worker completes and signs it; the applicant also signs and dates it. Not everyone needs all four forms.
