Funza Lushaka 2027: teaching bursary applications are open
Funza Lushaka applications for 2027 opened on 1 October 2026. New applications close 31 January 2027; existing bursars reapply by 30 November 2026. South African citizenship, university admission and approved B.Ed. programmes with priority subjects are required. PGCE is not funded in 2027. Teaching service is required: one year for each funded year. Read the official 2027 application notes, including the age and admission rules, before applying through eGov. Funding is not automatic.
